Return and exchange

Terms on return due date

  • For return and exchange, please contact the customer service at Betta Baby Store within eight days after product arrival.
  • We pay the shipping fees in the case of exchange of defective products or for inconvenience caused on our side such as insufficient quantity, etc.

 

We may not accept exchange or return if products are returned with no advance notice, or in the case of exchange or return when nine days pass after product arrival.

Return and exchange due to the convenience of customers

In the case that the ordered product is different from what the customer expected or the size is not suitable, we only accept exchange or return of the product without flaws or damage in a condition that can be resold. Shipping fees and the following fees are to be borne by customers in the case of return and exchange due to the convenience of customers.

  • *Shipping fees for both ways required for return or exchange
  • *420-yen flat fee for remittance to a bank account in the case of refund
  • *Fee for cash on delivery in the case of refund

If return or exchange is desired, please notify our company, then return the product within eight days after product arrival.

Refund in the case of return

Upon advance notice by a customer, we will confirm the situation, depending on which we may not be able to accept exchange or return. If the product to be exchanged is sold out, we may need to proceed with repair or refund.

Example when return or exchange is not accepted

  • Small air bubbles or lines on feeding bottles, uneven colors of natural materials, individual differences in design, etc. are unavoidable due to the work process; therefore, are excluded from return or exchange in principle.

Refund in the case of return

Following fees are to be borne by customers in the case of return due to the convenience of customers, and are deducted from the payment amount to be remitted to the specified bank account.

Charge and payment for difference in the case of exchange

If there is a difference in the case of exchange due to the convenience of a customer, we will notify by phone or email. The customer will pay the difference by cash on delivery in principle.

  • *Please use a packing material to return breakables such as glass feeding bottles.
  • *Please use home delivery services to return products, such as Yamato Transport, Sagawa Express, Yu-Pack, etc.
  • *There is no notice of delivery record or compensation system for “nonstandard-size mails.” Our company is not responsible for any loss or damage.

Cancellation prior to shipping
Any cancellations after shipment is ready (after our company sends the email that the order is recorded) may not be accepted.

Cancellation after shipping
Please understand that any returns due to the convenience of a customer such as “acceptance rejection,” “cancellation after product shipment,” “long-term absence,” etc. are not accepted.

In such case, please accept the product, then take the procedure of return or exchange.
All costs required for shipping in the case of unsuccessful acceptance are to be borne by you. Please remit to the bank account specified by our company within three days (remittance fees are borne by the customer as well).
In the case that remittance is not made, please understand that the full amount of actual costs including the costs, etc. required for compensation for damage, etc. will be charged in accordance with legal measures.

Others

  • Warranty for replacement nipples is applicable to defects only at the early stage because of the product characteristics.
  • Lines or a certain amount of small air bubbles on feeding bottles are unavoidable due to the work process; therefore are not under the scope of return and exchange in principle.

 

 

Product photos

The color and shape of the delivered products may be slightly different due to how they were photographed, displayed, etc.

  • We pay close attention to the product photos to be as close to the actual product as possible in color; however the item color may look slightly different due to the monitor environment of the customer.
  • Please understand that return or exchange due to the difference in color appearance is considered as the customer’s convenience.
