Introducing two different types of nipples proposed by Dr. Betta.

〈Developed by a midwife〉 The “Brain Nipple” aims to mimic mom’s nipple

Mom’s breast naturally leaks milk when hearing the baby’s cry, gently stretches when the baby sucks, and fits the baby’s mouth perfectly. But mom’s nipple only releases milk when the baby sucks firmly. It’s like a mysterious magic. The “Brain Nipple” was developed aiming to replicate this amazing mom’s nipple.
The “Brain Nipple” encourages strong sucking from the baby. It features a texture closer to mom’s breast, making it easier to latch onto.

〈Born from experienced moms’ feedback〉 The “Jewel Nipple” was designed with the baby’s milk drinking as the top priority.
First and foremost, we focused on the baby’s ability to “drink milk.” The soft silicone tip makes it easy to drink and supports the baby’s natural instinct to suck.

- Two types of suction holes to choose from as your baby grows
The “Brain Nipple” and “Jewel Nipple” come in two different hole shapes.
1. 〈Round Hole〉 Round hole at the tip
When you tilt the bottle, a fixed amount of milk flows out. This encourages the baby’s instinct to “drink” by letting milk touch the tongue.
2. 〈Cross-Cut〉 Plus-shaped slit at the tip
The slit opens according to the baby’s mouth movements, releasing milk. This means the amount of milk changes depending on how the baby sucks, encouraging the baby to control their own intake.

- About nipple compatibility
Slim-type nipples are interchangeable between the “Brain Nipple” and “Jewel Nipple.” You can swap and use your preferred nipple.

- More to know about the nipple care heart pin
Dr. Betta baby bottles come with a heart pin. It’s a heart-shaped pin made for nipple care. When you buy and use baby bottles or nipples, silicone often sticks together, so before each feeding, gently open the “tip hole” and “air valve” with the heart pin to keep them clean.
If milk is hard to come out, for cross-cut nipples, the slit at the tip is often stuck together. Try gently poking and opening the cross-cut slit with the heart pin.
When the nipple gets flattened, the main cause is that the air valve (the slit that lets air through) on the bottom of the nipple is stuck, preventing proper airflow. Gently open the air valve with the heart pin.

Nipples are consumable items. It’s best to rotate between 3 to 4 nipples and replace them with new ones about every month.
